OK, so what makes me think I’m not a big-headed egotistical maniac, having a blog of my own paintings, is that I’m a learner, and I know that.  I’m working to improve but I’m still early in the trip.  So in that light, this is a painting I’ve been working on.  It’s been sitting looking back at me for a week or two.  I think it’s telling me it’s done.  Maybe a tweak or two to come.  It’s been grays and blues and green and pinks and has come to rest (Ha! Get it??) at purples.  Aubergines.  Does that sound better?  Anyways, I’m liking it, and I also wish I was there!
