This painting is from a picture my Dad took probably about 20 years ago on a special sailing trip around Haida Gwaii.  Somehow his pictures ended up on my computer and I often pass them.  Amazing place. Bucket list destination.  Definitely.  This photo recently reached out and grabbed me, demanding to be painted, and I’m glad I did.  We had a bit of a journey together but I think I love painting sails.
