I was going squirrelly so I painted this fish. A rock cod. Don't ask me why the bright orange background. Just felt like it. A teacher told me to do the opposite of what you would expect.

This was inspired by a bunch of cornflowers that my mom brought me a few years ago. They were such an intense blue it felt like my eyes were seeing them wrong. I toned them down a little bit for the painting because I think they would have looked...
It must be because it's spring. My head is bursting with colours and ideas. That's often the case. It's so distracting! But usually I walk around with those colours and ideas circling in my head and waiting their chance to get out. Add spring into the mix...
